Dear Prof. Gori,
the five months, I stayed at your department in Rome 1999/2000, were a great
experience for me in any way. Beside the very interesting experimental
project, I was able to work on, it was a pleasure to live in such a city as Rome.
With my international experience it was no problem to find a good job. Now I
work for a company in the south of Munich as a research “ingenieur” for the
automotive industry.I still have contact with the two Italian guys, with whom I was working at
your department.
Thank you very much for making this experiences possible for me.
Dear Sir,
I hope in your Department everything is working fine. Back in Munich,
the lessons are keeping me busy, that is why so much time passed for the
answer. Looking back, I have to say I enjoyed the stay at your university in Rome
very very much. Not only from the new technical point of view, but also personally and all
over socially. It helped me to receive "new views" on how things can be done. I would
suggest anyone who is interested to come to Tor Vergata, deal with interesting problems and
solutions, and learn something about a new (old) culture in general. I also want to thank you and your team, and also Prof. Nino who supported me during this wonderful stay. I will never forget.
Could you send me the exact link to the page with the agreement with Chicago, so I will be able to spread the idea of going there to some people who might be interested, and get some more information.
In a few weeks I will meet a boy called "Jorge" who is studying at my University. He told me, that he plans to come to Tor Vergata in autumn, maybe at the same time as I went there. So I will inform him about some technical things like Markus did to me.
Finally once more I have to say: Thank you for the beautiful stay at your University.
